Will Hoskins’ second-half penalty earned Albion a 1-1 draw in a reserve friendly at Watford’s training ground.Albion sent out a strong line-up, with Hoskins being joined by fellow first-team squad members Gary Dicker, Stephen Dobbie, Ryan Harley, Matt Sparrow, David Lopez, Inigo Calderon and Torbjorn Agdestein. The rest of the squad was made up from Albion's development players.
The fixture gave Gus Poyet an opportunity to watch some of his squad ahead of a hectic fixture list, with three games in a week; including a trip to rivals and league leaders Crystal Palace.
The hosts took the lead during the first-half through Geoffrey Mujangi Bia, who cut in from the right and struck a left footed drive past Grant Smith* just under the bar.*
Albion struck from the spot to share the spoils on the hour mark.* Hoskins was pulled down in the box but dusted himself off to convert the spot-kick.
