MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• This is the first clash between these clubs since they were in League One together in the season before last, and Huddersfield did the double to take their unbeaten league run against Brighton to nine.

• The Seagulls, who lost 7-1 on their last but one visit to Huddersfield, last prevailed on the ground in October 2006, when Jake Robinson got a hat-trick in a 3-0 League One victory.

• Both clubs have scored 58 goals against each other from 44 competitive meetings since 1922.

Huddersfield Town

• Simon Grayson's sixth-placed side have picked up seven points out of nine.

• Four of the Terriers' eight league wins have been by a 1-0 score, and they must be considered as the most efficient club in the division, boasting an unrivalled 1.23 points for every goal scored.

• They have opened the scoring in an unsurpassed 11 Championship games, but have only fired 70 shots on target; the second lowest in the second tier; Bristol City have unleashed just 63.

Brighton & Hove Albion

• Eighth-placed Brighton are unbeaten in four (W1, D3), but have won one of nine, and are vying for a 100th away win in second level league football.

• Gus Poyet's men have the tightest defence in the Championship, with 14 goals conceded, but their 16 matches have yielded a divisional low 36 goals.

• If he lines-up for the kick-off, Dean Hammond will be making his 300th career league start.

Do we normally have dashes around the 'V'? I can't remember but it looks a bit European to me :D Anyway, it's a 1-1 all the way.

'Huddersfield striker Jermaine Beckford is set to start in attack despite suffering a knock against Brighton'.

Took him a while to get over that. I guess the knock was as a result of the early bath he had last January at the Amex. It's all in the mind :wrong:

Going for a 3-1 win to us today :albion2:

And please stop putting in "if Albion win, it will be their 100th away win in this division".

It really has been the kiss of death lately.

Just as I said above about Barnes being recalled in place of Dobbie. FFS.

And if they've got anyone with pace on the right, we're stuffed.
