Albion’s youth team have been drawn against Premier League Stoke City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup and the game will be played at the Amex on Tuesday 11th December - kick-off 7pm.Both teams were introduced at the third-round stage and this season and Simon Rusk's team will get to sample the Amex experience for the very first time.
The youth side are holding their own in the Under-18s Professional Development League this season, among Premier League academy competition, and this will be another test for the young Seagulls.
Youth team coach Rusk said, "This is a great opportunity for the lads and we are very thankful to the club for letting us play at the Amex, because some clubs wouldn’t give the under-18s the chance.
“The FA Youth Cup is a big stage for the lads to prove themselves and to get a taste of what they could experience as they strive to become professional footballers. We are all looking forward to the night.”
