Gus Poyet said that fans can expect an attractive game of football against Leicester City tomorrow night, but warns it will be one of Albion's toughest tests of the season...
The Foxes boast a 100 per cent record at the King Power Stadium so far this season, which speaks volumes according to the Albion boss.He told seagulls.co.uk, “I really like the way that Leicester are playing and they are one of the best teams to watch in the division. They are a proper team.
“They are clear about the way they play; they have speed, powerful players, they score goals, they have a very good goalkeeper and lots of experience at the back.
“This will be one of the most difficult places to go in the Championship, if not the most difficult place to go and get a result.
“Every time we have played against one of Nigel Pearson’s teams they have been very disciplined and very organised. They are strong with different options and I’m sure that they will be in the top six at the end of the season, if not the top two.
“Because of the way that they play there should be a little bit more space than normal, but we’ll have to wait and see.”
Poyet accepted that his side have endured a frustrating run of games recently, but is pleased that his players have remained true to their footballing ethos.
“The players are convinced that if we keep playing the same way and keep defending, it’s just a matter of time until we score and win games.
“It’s very strange what is happening. Sometimes you go and get destroyed, like at West Ham and Liverpool, but we put our hands up and accepted that. But we are doing more than enough to win football games.
“We need to keep playing, control the game and keep going for the three points – then it should change. If football is fair it will change and hopefully that will happen tomorrow.
“We have the best defence in the Championship but we are not winning so we can all see where the problem is.”
