I have heard from 2 sources, including B&H driver, that B&H buses will not be providing buses for the Boxing Day game v Millwall.

Not sure what trains, if any, will be running either.

???

Cant believe the date hasnt been changed. How will home and away fans get there if there is no buses and trains

The most likely scenario is to move the game back to 7:45 on the Thursday.

The football league will likely take a dim view that the game can't be played at the scheduled time. And would be loathed to move it more than 24 hours. Freshers weekend and bonfire night are acceptable reasons to reschedule. Every league club could cite transport problems as a reason to move their Boxing Day fixture.

Roger French will sort it as will Chris Birchall.

Fairly sure that in the old days of 30,000+ crowds at the Goldstone that there were no buses and trains on either Christmas Day or Boxing Day when matches were played and yet they still went ahead.:drama:

If the match has to be moved then it's a bit cheeky of the club to be selling a ticket package "which includes the popular Boxing Day clash."

Surely if the game was going to be moved it would have happened by now? We have known about this game for some time now!

A friend who is a Millwall supporter says that it is common knowledge at Millwall that the game will be moved and in fact moves have been made already. It seems absurd to sell tickets for a match at a ground that is virtually all served by public transport for a fixture when public transport is not available. The problem is when can it be moved to as we have Watford on Sky on 29th Dec.

Can some people engage their brains before posting. If there is no public transport, including park and ride then the game can't go ahead and as much as everyone likes a boxing day fixture we might have to accept a rescheduling. Alternative is that the club organise a lot more coaches from around the county to bring people in and drop them off! Can't see it happening though!

Who would be responsible for bringing the away supporters to The Amex us as the hosts or Millwall. This is more of a problem because all tickets include free travel from within a certain area for which people will have paid.

Don't Brighton and Hove buses have a contract to provide transport to the stadium for matchdays e.g park and ride, are they not breaking their contract here by not providing the buses.
