Seemly some of the proceeds of this game are being donated to the remf.

Wow.

Brilliant gesture by both clubs.

Good cheap dig there , well done ! I'm sure the REMF will appreciate the gesture .

It is shitty behaviour regardless of your/Lewes donation to the REMF that's serious money you screwed out of Bath, and a wasted weekend in terms if generating money, just because you couldn't be arsed with a coach journey.

Blimey. Fair play to both of them.

Marvellous gesture.

I wonder who swung that little number...
It seems clear from the news items on both clubs' websites, that this a gesture by Lewes FC alone. Well done, Rooks!

The Eagles are landing – Lewes FC

18/7/12

Lewes have arranged another prestigious friendly, this time against Crystal Palace on Friday night (20th July).

The match will be a 7.30pm kick off and will mark the start of the Eagles' preparation for the new season, who are expected to bring a strong squad to the Dripping Pan.

Ticket prices for the game will be £8 Adults, £4 Concessions and Under 16s go free.

Lewes FC will also be donating some of the proceeds of this game to the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund.

There will be no advance tickets and it is all pay on the gate.

In light of this additional game to the pre-season schedule, the prices for the Dover and Crawley XI matches have been amended to £5 adults, £3 concession and kids free. A decision on pricing for the Eastbourne match will be made in due course.

Have a day off !
Maybe some of you can come along on Friday to contribute.

While the gesture is appreciated, I don't think it's for you to lecture anyone on here about their contribution level to REMF.

The gesture to REMF is very much appreciated, but it doesn't mean Palace's treatment of Bath City was any less shitty for it. You can't marry up the two.

The threads about what the two clubs are doing for the REMF , which palace and Brighton fans have joined forces for a few years to raise money , I think to turn this on its arse is a bit cheap tbh .
