@skysportspeteo has tweeted he is close to signing for Wednesday.

Would be a shame to miss out. The best of the loan players from last year.

Very big club and also bankrolled by Mr Milan (Portsmouth's problems nothing to do with Harry and me) Mandaric. With Mattock wanting close to £20k a week - not surprised at all.

Shame if its true, but it could be something by his agent to try and encourage clubs to make an offer. I wouldnt rule out him joining us yet.

Perhaps (if it's true) he has legitimate reasons for preferring Wednesday. Money. Location. Mates at the club. Size of the club. Boyhood team. Likes their manager. Been impressed by their plans for the future. Etc.
