Home win, pressure off a tad now we are out of the immediate play off picture, could get a couple of results and sneak up on the rails tbh, though we have the toughest run in.

Reading Preview

Reading visit the Amex for the first time in the middle of three tricky and consecutive away games against the top clubs in the Championship. All big games for them. Following their 4-2 deserved win at Upton Park, their visit to play Brighton is followed by a trip to league leaders Southampton.

Under Brian McDermott Reading play a settled 4-4-2 which is a consistent system even with the departure of ertswhile star players. Their notable dangerous midfielder is Jobi McAnuff.

Reading won the fixture at their home stadium 3-0 just after Christmas when a depleted Albion side failed to make an impact. Adam El Abd has just returned and he had played at the Madejski Stadium before when the Albion lost 5-1 to the all conquering Reading team of 2005-6 in a year when Albion were relegated from the top flight.

Expect a cautious opening to a game as both Brighton and Reading create an average of under ten shots a game. Both sides have high conversion rates at 28% and 27% respectively. This implies a two footballing sides that like to create chances rather a percentage hoof into the channels and penalty area.

The last few match day threads have been started a day early. We're not won in three games now (two draws, one loss). Please everyone, stop starting them early just to be the one who starts them.

This , our playoff chances are going down the pan every time the matchday thread starts a day early.

If you're so superstitious then ask a mod to delete the thread and remind BBBW to get himself sorted out.

These. There is no doubt the dip in form is due to these awful official threads. The title is all wrong and it's 'and' not '&' in our name. The stars go on each end and I'm pretty sure it should just be 3, we're doomed.

Buy my prediction for this match before was 2-1 CMS and Greer

Ha-ha!! Ours go up 4 or 5 days before the match!! (And it doesn't bring us bad luck!)

Here's to a good game, and a good advert of Championship footie ...

Error. Gawd knows how that happened. Relegated from the second tier (Championship). Reading spent two seasons in the Premier.
