Thanks for the invite Pantani, just this minute joined up and waiting for approval to come through.

Team name is : Leipheimer not weeks

The name is from an in joke between me & my 12 & 14 yr olds. I assume help from them is not considered cheating ? With my very limited knowledge and luck I'm going to need all the help I can get

Glad to have you all onboard. Anymore? Feel free to invite any non NSC mates if you want, bigger the league the more fun it is.

As a bonus if you are losing they also do all the grand tours as individual events so if you are well behind there is still the chance for some bragging rights all the way through the year.

Ohhh giving away a top tip.
I love the start of seasons, irrespective of the sport.
Having no idea (not that we have much of an idea halfway through) who's going to be good.

Like you I just slung in a few Aussies and names I'd heard of.

Other than a little theory about Flanders/Roubaix I've not got a scooby about anything, Le Tour included.

I've kept a few top tips back though, so hope to maintain an advantage but that being said make sure you check the scoring system for each days stage as it does change from time to time and easy points are available.

I love this idea...

One unique feature of the Tour Down Under is that the Australian fans choose a lowly ranked domestique and treat him like a A-list celebrity by mobbing him at hotels as well as and painting his name on the road. This year the have chosen Wouter Mol the Vacansoleil rider and we to at TheWheelsucker.com have adopted him as our favourite for the next week.

Garmin, my fav team, are edging slowly towards a kit I could wear.
If only I rode a Cervelo.

Lose the argyle and it would be nice, possibly a bit dull though.

What are Team America (Radioshack) wearing this year?

Sent from my phone cause I can
Hey it's not orange argyle, hence the edging bit.
Radioshack haven't changed much, from Leopard:-

The UCI World Calendar is available from this link...

UCI WorldTour

EDIT: We're in 2012 now!!!

Looking at that link, it got me thinking about a day trip to take in Paris - Roubaix. Only about and hour and half from Calais. Whilst thinking of that, I also unearthed this on youtube. Fittingly the film is an hour and a half long :) Enjoy.

After the prologue stage I'm 9th in our NSC league of 10 ! :(

I might have to take my bike home and not play anymore now :tantrum:

A Sunday In Hell, is supposed to be THE cycling film, which I've never seen.
One day I'll purchase my own copy.

Oh and with my 18 points, I look down on you!

My big guns are just biding their time. I also took a small gamble on one of my dark horse domestiques recovering from that shoulder injury, but alas he never did and never started. I blame my slow start ALL on him  A good old engine has now been brought in to replace him anyway, so....tomorrow's another day :p

Will anyone reveal their team line up I wonder ?, as I notice the site won't let you see them.

Initially I thought it was odd Cav was on a Pinarello, but it's not.
It's actually seeing him in Nike, that's odd.
