What a fabulous night.

Everyone was there to have a few drinks and a laugh. There was a great atmsophere.

The crowd was estimated at 300 which for anyone in the hospitality suite at the end was plenty !.

Due to delays Ricky managed to move heaven and earth to be at the ground by 7.30 pm and only miss 20 minutes. A special mention to the man who has made a 1000 mile round trip again to play 70 minutes in a football match. Legend !.

A great result for our boys winning 6-1 with a performance of unrelenting brilliance. A special mention to the Palace boys, a great bunch of lads who without their help and commitment the REMF games would cease to be.

Thanks to Paul Samrah who bravely battled on without a mic at the end, splended job. Ed & Roz superb work, my wife Julie for selling and organising the raffle on her birthday and all the helpers.

Well done Fatboy and the team !.

An initial figure for money raised is

Gate money £ 520
Albion team £ 240
Palace team £ 160
Palace sponsors £ 207.50
Raffle £ 450

Total £ 1577.50

This does not I believe include the Albion team sponsors

There are expenses but a net profit well in excess of £ 1000 will be made on the night which is a 60% increase on last years profits.

That will supply a years grant to a local worthy club in the future.

Looking forward to REMF 4.

Congratulations to all those involved in this. Wish I could have been there. Are the matches only held annually and if so are they normally in April?

I was very tired and emotional by the time that photo was taken.

I have just done the final tally which is £ 1555.90. This does not include the Albion players sponsors.

This is the money made on the night and Palace players sponsors.
