Following on from my thread re my chat with Albion legend Steve Gritt. His donation has turned up this morning.

It is an a4 size colour drawing of Steve dressed in a Superman costume with a Seagull to his right shoulder and BHAFC on the costume with the title " Supermanager ".

Steve Gritt has signed it.

This is a unique , personally and important piece of Albion history.

People can make a bid for the characture which will be framed on the remf website - www.remf.net where a photo will appear shortly.

Well done Stevie !.

Why isn't there a picture of the Leicester shirt on there?

Fatboy, do you know who Steve Gritt is?

Did he manage Liverpool to their 1992 FA Cup triumph?

According to my scrapbook Steve Gritt was my first manager. I definitely remember Horton coming and going too.

Is it the kind of drawing where the head is much bigger than it should be? There's something about those things that I find a little bit disturbing. Like ventriloquist's dummies.

His head is reasonably in proportion I would say.

Did you get hold of the guy from Lashings??

They had a really cool black bat signed by Richardson, Tufnell and loads of others that I quite fancy bidding for..
