Thank you for your reply concerning the applause.i guess my point was that nearly 20,000 home fans might have expected the opportunity to mark speeds death as the derby fans were able to do on the previous Tuesday.i thought this applause was to take place at each game throughout the divisions on Saturday? Again-was this an oversight,to not mark the suicide of a top manager?

No it was not an oversight, the Football League left it to the discretion of individual clubs.
