"Multi-Ball" System

Hi Insider,

Thought I'd ask this question as it's been bugging me since the first games of the season at the Amex.

How come we now only have one ball in the whole area of play this season, and no spare balls in the hands of the ballboys, whereas we used the "Multi-Ball" system at Withdean last season all the time?

Was this due to the fact we got caught out with it on a couple of occasions, when the ballboys got the ball back to the opposition too efficiently?

No, it was necessary at Withdean because of the wide-open stadium and we had clearance from the FL because of that. At the Amex this isn't so much of a problem.
