Nice 'n' sleazy.

Fantastic played loud with the sound going across the speakers!

('twas a shame about those rough strippers at the Brighton Centre in '79?)

Toiler from that list. Always had a soft spot for Bear Cage. Something Better Change was the first one bought. Always the Sun probably my favourite although they were clearly coming to the end of their road at that time.

1) Hanging Around
2) Nice and Sleazy
3) I feel Like A Wog

Such a wealth of good stuff to choose from though. First band I ever saw live. Oddly enough it was Dave Greenfield's Keyboard playing that first turned me on to synths, electronic bands and ultimately dance music. Something tells me he probably hates dance music!! oh the irony! :)

true, dance was after my time, but really like new order

always used to annoy me,dave greenfield was always voted number 2 keyboard player in the NME,behind rick wakeman

same with JJ,behind bruce foxton

the NME was big news back then

There was a great period in the early 80's where synths were being used by some great heavy duty bands - Killing Joke and DAF were two of my faves! Joke are stil going strong today and in my opinion as good as ever. New Order were great live too - even though he couldn't sing! haha

Rick Wakeman just had a ridiculous Amstrad esque "Tower of Keyboard Power" He was seriously over compensating for something!
