The Seagulls are unbeaten in 17 home league matches against Hull, winning 13 and drawing four since Hull's 2-1 victory in August 1965.

I remember the 1965 game when only a fantastic save by their keeper prevented an Albion equaliser against the high spending (unprecendented for Divsion 3 at the time) visitors.

1-0 to the Albion, but no correct scores predicted so far, and only one result predicted against Liverpool.

Brighton & Hove Albion

• Brighton won seven and drew one of their first eight league and cup games, but have not managed a victory in the five matches since.

• The Seagulls have conceded three goals in each of their last three league games, and are in danger of losing three on the trot for the first time since December 2009.

• Gus Poyet's side have conceded four league goals in stoppage time, which is unequalled in the Championship going into this weekend's fixtures.

Players may return after injury for Hull City including Paul McKenna.

I think we'll win 2-0, I can see a clean sheet at the back and a workmanlike performance. I don't think it will be out and out attack, but it will be a classy performance. Hopefully.

It all depends. I think we will play 4-3-3 and try and break down a 4-4-2. It is difficult to work out if Vicente will work as the foremost part of a triangle midfield or wider on the left. Although, we may try to play tippy-tappy, players running with the ball at the opposing defence is both exciting and effective. It is better than humping long balls into the occupied channels.

Par must be 1-0.

I'm actually looking to hearing/seeing the BHAFC line-up today. I wonder if Gus has the balls to make some changes after recent performances.
