shirt printing quality

Hi...

I recently had a name / number applied to my away shirt {it is the new black "away" lettering}. Having worn it to Leicester, and having been washed once {as per the washing instructions} the lettering now has a cracked, faded appearence - not really good after such a short space of time. Am a bit worried about wearing it again as I dont want to have to wash it and make it look even worse - in an ideal world would appreciate a like for like swap but if this is a situation that will reoccir than i don't know what to do...

Your suggestion would be appreciated....
