Bus Travel - To and From Lewes

Can the club review bus travel to and from Lewes on match days.

Having travelled now to a number of games from Lewes there is clearly not enough buses on the scheduled service to cope with the demand on match days, this is more evident for evening games.

Some examples:

Last nights game on travelling to the Liverpool game the 6.30 approx from Lewes Prison was full up and people were not able to get on at the Kingston roundabout.

Against Sunderland on a later bus the same happened and all people were not able to get on a the first stop after the Prison.

Every evening game not enough buses after the game to deal with the demand and scheduled services not so regular as into Brighton

As the council monitor all travel arrangements to the Amex and are committed to delivering on promises can the club consider:

- the need for additional buses from the Lewes Area on match days, even an additional bus on a loop from Lewes to Falmer will help resolve these issues
- any consideration to a park and ride

What has become apparent over the first few games is that more and more people are parking on the streets of Lewes but the bus service in my opinion is not able to handle this especially for evening games.
