I too purchased a Heritage Stone and was under the impression (which has been proved incorrect) that the stones would be laid on the the side of approach to the Stadium from the Railway Station to avoid large scale footfall of the sort being experienced outside the main West Stand reception.
Having searched the Seagulls site, I have found the following article written by Paul Camillin on the 10th February 2011 (link below) with the relevant sentence highlighted.

"Heritage stones, that are purchased by supporters will be laid in a perimeter path around our new home."
The following is from the 'Be Part Of It' website

"These Heritage Stones will be laid in the walkway concourse around the
perimeter of the stadium."
Again, this could imply that the stones would not be laid in one specific area but the way it is written could mean anything.
