Hi

With the Liverpool tickets about to go on sale, have we got an answer to someones earlier question yet, as to why the club are charging a £2 to buy a "ticket" online for STH, when no ticket is issued with the new card system?

It does seem completely wrong that the club are requesting fans use the online ticket system, and charging them £2 for the pleasure for a fully automated system, whilst people calling into the ticket office and creating queues and using staff time up, are not charged?

Will this situation be sorted before the Liverpool tickets go on sale?

Thanks

No, it has not been removed. There are costs associated with all ticket purchases made online, regardless of whether a paper ticket is issued and/or sent by post - including credit card charges and a royalty payment to the software company for each transaction. Unlike other clubs and events, the club only charge £2 per transaction, not per ticket, and as a result, for multi-ticket purchases the club actually ends up subsidising online purchases.
