What has happened to the balance on my smartcard?

Just wondering where I stand, or who I can sort this out.

I topped my smartcard up by £30 this morning before the match today.

When I got to the till, this balance was not on my card, so with much embarrassment I couldn't stand my round, and had to use a friend's card.

When I got home to check the balance, the £30 pounds was on the card.

My questions are:

1) Is the money on the card?

2) Why didn't the till recognise that the balance was there?

3) Was there anyone in the WSU bar I could have contacted at the time to speak to sort this out? The girl behind the bar simply didn't believe me..!

4) Can I trust the credit I put on the card in future?

We need the fan number and card number to check if the balance is on there. And then I would recommend trying it on another reader as it may have been faulty.
