Apologies - I can't see this info anywhere so by all means call me a thicko and direct me too it if necessary!

Is there any opportunity to park at the Amex on non-match days to visit the ticket office, club shop, etc etc ?

Yes, stewards at the main entrance will direct you to where you should park.
