I support SLT's earlier comments on leaving towards the East, as the same situation applied and will apply to me. In so doing, I exited easily and with no hold-up or other difficulty - indeed I was home earlier than I had ever been from any of the 3 previous grounds, despite staying in the stadium for a short while after the game!

Whilst, at first sight, it would also appear easier to enter by that route, I understand that logistics around the junction and roundabout at entrance time might well prohibit it.

Our agreement with the University reserves the Knights Gate Road entrance for exclusive university entry and exit. You will come out via Stanmer Park and take the left hand lane. We expect it to actually be quicker using this route.
