Sami Hypia of Liverpool folklore has just walked into the casino that I work in. Haven't spoken to him yet but I will be supervising the table he's playing at, at the moment. Ok, he's never been the quickest but I think he could still do a job. Like I said, I'll have a word with him and see if he's interested.

That would be pretty amazing, I'm guessing you are quite cocky and have the balls to do it ;) good luck

Would be a good one to look at. Played to a high level very recently and could we encourage him to do coaching badges etc. while playing part time as a back-up for 6 months to look at him while the 2 lads are injured? Remember him being a very good dressing room influence if rumours are correct and certainly a leader and experienced.

possibly, but dont think we require another assistant manager/defensive coach.

I seem to recall that Hyypia and Poyet never really got along at all on the pitch. If so, why should it be considered to form a working relationship off the pitch!?

Usually the players that 'didn't get on' on the pitch had the hugest respect for that very reason.

Well, unfortunately, he's found a but of pace somewhere cos the bugger left before I got back from my break. But never mind, he's in here quite often at the moment so I will ask him next time.

This story, like Sami, has no legs. Don't believe the Hypia...

Are you allowed to be sharing this info with us? Is there not a client/croupiere confidentiality clause in your contract?

well given that he played for Bundesliga runners up Leverkusen last year (and pretty well from the games that I watched) - and has CL football this year....I doubt he will be joining Brighton if he can squeeze another year out of his ageing legs.

Oh Sami Sami, Sami Sami Hyypia!

One of my favourite players of all time.

No chance of him coming, and he'll get done for pace by Earnshaw types

I notice you don't actually mention whether this "job" would be at the Albion or in the casino.
