Hi Paul

Just a quickie mate.

What are the rules regarding bringing in cameras to football league grounds? I know most people have camera phones now, but if you wanted to bring in a SLR type camera to take some photos on the first game of the new era, is it allowed?

i only ask as at Wolves a few years back, one of my mates had his "confiscated" when taking shots inside the stadium, the steward saying that it was against football league rules. ( he got it back at the end of the game luckily)

Regards

dave

Officially, you should not bring professional camera equipment in without the required press accreditation. This protects the rights of the League, the two clubs playing and players. However, I am guessing it is just for family pictures, as opposed to action shots, in which case our approach is that we tend to turn a blind eye (providing you're not taking pictures of the game)...
