The Seagulls travel to Boundary Park in a rich vein of form and will be confident they can extend the run today. Manager Gus Poyet has a full squad to select from today.

The Latics will be looking to end a sequence of 9 games without a win in front of their own fans against the side top of the table.

The match will be officiated by D Whitestone.

My prediction? A closely fought tussle with the Seagulls edging it 2 - 1 goals from Murray and Bennett.

Come on lads, let's grab those 3 points and move ourselves ever closer to the Holy Grail that is promotion!!

Can see this being one of those dire 0-0 draws.

Mr. Wade has a good track record with official match threads I believe.

I think I have a 100% record for including past stats too, so...

League matches at Oldham
Brighton wins 5
Oldham wins 10
Draws 6
Brighton goals 22
Oldham goals 36

League Results (last 10 years)
English League One

20.03.2010 Oldham 0-2 Brighton
06.12.2008 Oldham 1-1 Brighton
12.01.2008 Oldham 1-1 Brighton
16.12.2006 Oldham 1-1 Brighton
English Division Two
09.08.2003 Oldham 1-3 Brighton
09.02.2002 Oldham 2-0 Brighton

Unbeaten there in 5 games, so plumping for a 2-0 win for the good guys.

They have M'voto back fit on loan from Sunderland to bolster their defence and he could also prove potent in attack so I have him down to score the first goal as once again we come from behind to scrap out a tensely fought 2-1 win with second half goals from Wood and Barnes.

Well he gave us two goals playing for Southend before!

I can't see anything but an Albion win today, 2-0 Murray and Noone.

Very interesting you mention this player (big black bloke - massive in fact?). I recall him being one of the biggest donkeys ever when he played for Southend at Withers and yes he gifted us 2 goals! However he was playing for Oldham earlier this season at Withers and seemed a lot better and played fairly well. Let's hope the donkey returns today!

Oldham will score early I think but Brighton will grab one on the stroke of halftime and in a the second half Brighton will score maybe 1,2 or more

I think our rivals see today as the day we slip up & they can get within touching distance. I'm certainly nervous, even though Oldham are not in form, I feel they might just show up today.

Today is PIVOTAL, & 3 points will be just MASSIVE.

COME ON BRIGHTON!
