Team news:

Adam El Abd should regain his place in Gus Poyet's starting eleven after serving a one match ban. Tommy Elphick is expected to make way. Matt Sparrow will be hoping to retain his place after impressing against Brentford on Tuesday night. Manager Poyet will have to decide whether to go with the successful 4-3-3 formation or play 4-4-2.

For Tranmere Ian Goodison and Marlon Broomes are defensive doubts whilst the match will probably come too soon for Dale Jennings, currently recovering from injury.

The match will be officiated by Steve Rushton.

My prediction?......

2 - 0 to the Albion, goals from Murray and Sparrow.

Considering the obscene odds on a Tranny win, and how we are overwhelming favourites, I'm going for a 0-1 with them scoring from the only shot they have, and us having total domination but without finding a way through! Think England v Poland '73!

Wrong it was a 2 match ban for 10 yellow cards. he missed the games against Carlisle and Brentford

Agree with you that early goal could lead to a decent win, it's just getting that breakthrough that's the difficult bit.

he speak well, I reckkon they will be up for it as they have nothing to lose, an early goal should mean a romp, the longer it goes all square, the tougher it will be to win.....
