This is actually a serous question; honest! On the One Show tonight in the run up to the Wales v England 6 nations game at the Millenium Stadium, there was an item about how they use some bird of prey - with a human handler - to whizz about the stadium to dissuade pigeons from crapping on the seats etc. It doesn't kill the pigeons; they just don't roost under any of the roofs etc because they know sooner or later they'll get buzzed by some tough looking bird of prey.
Seemed to me like a brilliant idea, ecologically friendly and a good talking point. How about it at Falmer? Just don't use an Eagle; that's all!
