Panic attacks

Some good points there, bWize. Durlston may PM you as he did me so you will understand the root and depth of his present feelings. Coping/distraction mechanisms are, as you say, helpful, and have certainly helped me deal better with stuff I'd rather keep at bay.



Please message me if you need to talk to someone. Just remember the brain can play all sorts of tricks on you, it's not always "reality" though.

Wow, reminds me of my first major panic attack. I started panicking so much that I couldn't control my hands -- my body was so full of adrenaline that my hands started to contort (kinda like you see those people who have neurological problems). I called 911 in a panic and from the floor asked the operator if I was gonna die. She said she cant answer that (how about you humor me and just say that you think I'm gonna live). Just as the paramedics came I started to feel better.
