Graze, Terre a Terre and The Meadow, only places in Brighton with couple of rosettes and michelin bibs? All excellent.

Food for Friends, Gingerman, Due South.

For such a hip and trendy area, nowhere in Brighton has a michelin star so if you want somehwere really swanky it might be worth looking further afield.

The arse end of Hangleton

Seconded. Decent posh food and a bottle of wine for less than £100.

If you want even posher grub and a night away look at Ockenden Manor in Cuckfield - they do some really great offers on their web site and it's a Michelin star !

Hotel du Vin on Middle Street (or Ship Street, I always get them mixed up)

Walked past Graze the other day and it looked like it was being refurbished....

Meadow alright but difficult to understand the menu. The head chef/owner used to train in London under some big swinging dick of a chef but originally comes from Storrington and still source some of the food from his paretns garden.

Hotel du vin food is decent with the bonus of an excellent selction of after-dinner single malts.

Seven dials resturant is worth a go and so is the ginger pig.

Fully booked for the night I want, that was my second choice.

Go to Havana in Duke Street. Best in Sussex let alone Brighton.
