I love the new UK passport design:

- but it's not always a seagull background they say at BBC News - New UK passport design unveiled in fight against fraud so fingers crossed for when I get my next passport.

Imagine if a Palace fan got one - or are they banned from leaving the country?

Just noticed elsewhere that there's a bird under the, well, bird's, photo, at http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/slideshow/ALeqM5gealAP72glhHi018AQGb2cIVXSrA?index=0
I hope that's a seagull and not a bluebird, don't want Cardiff muscling in on the action.

Having got mine in March, I think it was about £80 for one through the post. I needed an emergency one, so had to make an appintment and go along to the place in Victoria, and cost be about £127 I seem to remember - but at least you get it within a couple of hours and don't rely on the post.
