Spain v Netherlands

I expect the par result is Spain 1 Netherlands 0

I nearly put a bet on. However, I do not think the back central defenders of Spain are much better than the England pair. Germany pulled the central pairing apart, but they could not get the ball for the pass. So I think Holland might very well get a goal.

The team news is is, and the big but unsurprising news is that Fernando Torres is once again on the bench for Spain.

I hope Holland win because I prefer northern Europeans to the southern area. I am glad there is nobody from Africa in the final as I didn't agree with the World Cup being held in Africa. I always think the side who wins the World Cup should host the next one, thereby allowing the hosts and holders to automatically qualify. On the side, who's watching ITV and who's with the BBC, BBC for me.

I like the idea of nations sharing the World Cup and Olympics. It was a pity we could not have shared the Olympics between London and Paris.

Exactly, I doubt if Bobby Moore would have been arrested for nicking in London and Gorden Banks wouldn't have been poisoned. Also football would have been in countries that excel in football.
