Could you advise us how the club felt about the revised TV deal and distribution of monies between Championship, League 1 and League 2 clubs?

It was widely reported that there was a lot of unhappiness from lower league clubs, was the Albion one of them?

I guess you are talking about the "solidarity payments" as opposed to TV money - which will be distributed using the same 80%, 12%, 8% split that is used to distribute TV money. The solidarity payments are made from money voluntarily passed down the football family by the PL and not money received from TV revenue; the deal also secures a four-year parachute payment deal.

The way the PL have structured the deal sees a huge increase for Championship clubs, but the clubs have "accepted it" - subject to it being voted upon by the clubs at the summer FL AGM. As a club we have concerns about distorting competition, although the original parachute payments structure already does this. On the other we have genuine ambitions to be a Championship club. After much reflection, by ourselves and other clubs, we, along with others, decided to vote through the proposals.
