Health and Safety restrictions

On the recent away trip to Stadium MK the fans were not allowed to take flags, inflatables or even balloons into the ground on H&S regulations.

Will Falmer be governed or restricted by any such policies as many of us are interested in making one area that displays flags etc?

All premises are governed by health and safety regulations and a football ground is further governed by its ground regulations and the conditions of its safety certificate.

It is unlikely that our views will change from those at Withdean.

We will not routinely confiscate inflatables but will do so if they present a danger or are offensive.

Where possible we will accomodate flags provided they do not breach ground regulations by having a heavy wooden pole or a bamboo pole.
