What you can do

1. Help publicise the event

- Print off the posters (#1, #2) and display wherever you can.

- Join the Facebook event

- And simply tell your chums

2. Come along!

Attending the game is the most typical way of helping out. It's a great fun evening for, as they say, the whole family. Gully will be there to help entertain the kids. You WILL have a good time. However, if you are unable to attend (or even if you are), there are plenty of ways you can contribute to the success of the event...

3. Sponsor the Albion team

The Albion team are collecting sponsorships and every donation, nomatter how small, will help make a massive difference.

Additionally, every person that donates at least £5 on this page will be entered into a raffle to win one of 3 x tickets for Brighton vs Yeovil on Saturday 8th May (donated by Mendoza, Ned and Yorkie)

4.Sponsor an Albion REMF player

If you prefer, you can sponsor an individual player directly.

Ali Jenkins

Richie Morris

Tom Walmsley

5. Sponsor a very special player

You could sponsor either (or, indeed, both) the two stars of the show - Peter Ward and Ricky Marlowe.

A raffle will be held for each of the match worn REMF shirts worn by these two very special attendees.

For every multiple of £5 you donate to Peter Ward, you will get a ticket for the raffle. Likewise, for every multiple of £5 you donate to Ricky Marlowe, you will get a ticket for the raffle. The raffle for these shirts will be drawn on Wednesday 22nd April at midday

6. Get involved in the auctions and raffle

...for a chance to win some very, very special items, a very special dance...

...or win a hard hat tour of Falmer with Marin Perry.

7. Contribute via your NSC activity

Doing stuff from NSC could help swell the REMF coffers.

More to come over the next few weeks, I'm sure...

About the REMF

The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund (REMF) was founded in the wake of the attack on the World Trade Centre and the subsequent tragic death of popular Brighton fan Robert Eaton. SInce inception, the REMF has raised more than £70,000 and been named The Argus Charity of the Year.

Numerous events have been held to raise funds for the REMF with the feature event being an annual match between fans of Brighton and (otherwise bitter rivals) Crystal Palace.

Money raised has gone to helping a host of junior football clubs, including:

- Los Peladitos. A club for disadvantaged children in Queens, New York. The REMF provided them with a 3 year funding grant of 230 shirts, 150 balls and equipment.

- Seagulls Specials. The charity gave the club a £7,000 grant to help fund its work with handicapped and special needs people in the local community.

- Coaching for Hope. The charity which uses football to bring hope to the lives of Aids orphans in Mali was given £3,000.

- Another eight local youth teams in Brighton have been given kit and equipment

- Goals sent out to impoverished kids in Cambodia.

- A set of kit was sent to underprivileged children in South Africa.

---------------------------

Past REMF match results

After Palace emerged victorious in the first couple of REMF matches, the Albion have upped their game, winning the last 6 (six) fixtures.

Good work Superphil. Top man.

And a big hand to Gareth for co-ordinating everything again. I think sometimes the excellent job he does is taken a bit for granted.
