Falmer Station

Hello,

Went down to Falmer the other day and couldn't help but notice how small the station is. Hadn't really given it much thought.

I understand there is a new footbridge being built. Are there any other plans to improve the station (e.g increase the size of platforms) and if so, are these available? And when will this work be taking place?


Also, given that the stadium will be relying on public transport, does this mean we won't be able to have home games on Boxing Day when there are no trains?

Some station improvements are being carried out in conjunction with the footbridge works and will be completed well in time for the opening of the stadium.

IF we have a game on a Boxing Day we will discuss with our transport partners, particularly the buses, how we can replace the trains with, for instance, extra park and ride opportunities.
