It looked like it was going from West to East from where I am and there was two objects, one bright one dim and much smaller.

Someone else spotted that as well. I'm not sure what it was?

It could have been this amatuer satellite that made a pass very close by

RS-13- Information

It followed the smaller object exactly, on the same path. It was bright and seemed to have two sources of light that were very close, kind of bunched up. It definetly wasn't a plane if anyone was wondering.

hhmmmm? A bit of a mystery that one!

The Space Shuttle hasn't taken off yet so it wasn't that. That amatuer satellite was on a different trajectory. Must be a UFO...

On another forum, they also spotted it...

Could it have been a light reflection through the atmosphere sort of creating a blur? It didn't appear to chase it as such just follow it at a slight distance behind at exactly the same speed...optcal illusion maybe.

It's a Progress 33 Cargo ship that is awaiting de-orbit. It has been free drifting from the ISS for a few days.

The Progress 33 which undocked June 30 is set to rendezvous again with the station on July 12 to test new docking systems for the arrival of the mini-research module 2 before it will deorbit.
