A couple of years ago, a friend of mine co-ran the Brighton Hip-Hop Festival, and one part of it was to invite 'graffiti artists' (for want of a better term) to paint their own murals on the boards at the New England Quarter. The results were STUNNING.

Now those eight feet high boards are surrounding the Falmer site, can the club and/or Buckingham group get involved with a community arts project or ask some artists to do something appropriate or artistic with them?

At the moment, the peace and tranquility of the countryside looks ruined, nay destroyed, with them as they are.

Just an idea, like.

That same thought had crossed my mind, particularly as AITC has a graffiti project as part of its social inclusion work. However, I'm not sure quite what the regulations are and agreements with the Uni and Falmer villagers.
