Hi,

In cases of medium/long term injury situations to players, do the club get fully recompensed by insurers regarding wages/bonuses etc?

It depends on the policy and type of cover. Usually, clubs (and sometimes players themselves) only cover against career-ending injuries. The premiums would be too high to cover short-term injuries.
