Falmer steel ordering

From Martin Perry via Insider on Ask the Club on 2nd December:

"Giraffe is right in that the heavy expenditure does not commence until next April although we will be ordering the steel very soon to ensure that it is fabricated in time for a commencement on the steel frame next June. "

Can you confirm the steel is on order to hit a June start and can you confirm that the major work will indeed be starting in April.

Would be great for the fans to get more regular updates from MP rather than via you but there we are!!

Yes everything remains on course for April start. I would love to have more from Martin online and in the programme, but this has to be balanced against the huge task of project managing the stadium - and balanced across the programme, web, podcast and other media. His spare time is obviously very precious currently, but there was a piece with him in Tuesday's programme, and another tomorrow. He also featured on the most recent podcast.
