Would the club be willing to host an EGM for the supporters to meet with the players? Hopefully an uplifting/clear the air type meeting.

An EGM is something a company holds for directors and shareholders. I think the players know what is required, a meeting with the fans probably wouldn't help in this instance.
I don't think the air needs to be cleared by the fans, if you know what I mean. The club can accept people showing frustration on the final whistle, this only demonstrates that they care about the club (as we all do). Overall the support on Saturday and again last night was superb, and several people within the club, including the manager have commented upon it. Saturday is a massive game, and while I almost feel guilty of asking (again), more of the same level of support can only help the team.
