Interesting. Can anyone see any value here? Ritchie at 22-1 looks a decent outside shot. Boothroyd at 14-1 also looks long to me.

Mental. It's like a list of murder suspects. Dean White should be 100/1. Alex Inglethorpe 12/1 - eh? Roeder makes me guffaw. Tony Adams only 25s? Ardiles at 33 is like betting on a cat to win the Grand National. Cotterill at 5s makes me wonder whether they know summat we don't. Going for the value insider bet I might stick an insurance couple of quid on Gary Stevens bearing in mind everything that got said yesterday. Not sure Ince will agree terms.

Just the mention of John Gregory's name worries me!

I'm surprised Ince is the favourite, he's still got a lot to prove in football management but could we really meet his demands?

I'd be fine with Gregory as manager. He's managed at the top level and has done OK. I admit over recent years he has had a strained relationship with Brighton but that can be repaired and we can get back to the relationship we had when he was a very good player for us.

Any odds on Tank ? , his loan spell is coming to an end shortly. Imagine Andy Naylor's headline in the Argus - I cant believe its Butters. :)

I'll give you everything in my bank account plus my decks, a selection of old music zines and everything in my kitchen (a three-quarter full jar of peanut butter) if old Grecian head gets the job.

Nicky Forster at 14/1? I thought the whole player-manager thing had died a death at the end of the 90s?

well we're going down anyway, so at least he'll have time to build a squad. But I meant it as in he could be a huge sucess and potenially a great manager or not which is why it could be interesting.

Fair play. To give him his due, he's actually a surprisingly articulate bloke who possibly could do a good job as a manager. Not sure now's the time for experimentation though.
