When did the £2 booking fee come into play for home tickets? My father was charged an extra £2 for his Barnet ticket which was purchased over the phone. I'm not aware of this happening in the past.

Also, will this apply to away tickets?

It's taken to cover the credit card surcharge and/or postage & packing. We've been doing it for sometime.
