I have had confirmation from Peter Taylor today that he will play for the CPFC supporters team in REMF 7 ( albeit it 15 minutes as he has a dodgy knee ). This speaks volumns for the Man who was a superb BHAFC manager and a brilliant CPFC winger during the 70's and the Cup Run and the man who gave the England armband to David Beckham. He got Gillingham promoted and Hull twice and got Leicester City FC to 9th in the Premiership as well as landing a league title for BHAFC.

A real bonus to the event and how many players can say they played on the same pitch as an England manager.

Peter Taylor was superb at REMF 1 when he gave a team talk in both players changing rooms and helped get a CPFC signed shirt last year.

Now who is going to mark him Fatboy

Very nice gesture by the boy Taylor

Any way the REMF could be EXTRA cheeky and get him to do his famed Norman Wisdom impression if, say, five hundred quid or something was pledged for the charity?

Its unlikely as Reading will be fighting for their PRemiership lives. They are at home to Fulham the next day. I could enquire but think PT should be the main man for CPFC personally.
