I am fully aware that the current policy is for a member of the junior seagulls to be drawn at random to be a home matchday mascot. However, in the past in addition to this it used to be possible to phone up and pay about £150 to have an additional mascot. Surely this is a good easy way of generating money from nothing.
Personally I would love to be able to book my son to be a mascot, for the privelage of doing this I would be prepared to pay a good £300 - £400 quid if I got a couple of tickets and a picture chucked in. That's not much different than the cost of a season ticket, with higher profit margins for very little work.
Is there any chance this could be investigated? Your feedback would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
