I think he was only on the pitch for 20 or so minutes wasn't he?
What kind of pillock is Souness for even taking him on without no scouting whatsoever?!?!
Oh well no matter how much people get on Wilkins' back for poor results, Souness is in a league of his own with this one!

Eh? Gav was a decent player for us in difficult times. He scored a couple of cracking goals as well. I remember one where he made a very good keeper in Shaka Hislop look totally stupid with a wicked curler into the top corner at the Goldstone.
