NSC Player Sponsorship

I organise the mailing list sponsorship of Steve Coppell.

Thoughts have just turned to NSC sponsoring a player.

Cost is £250 (away kit), £300 (home kit). For that you get:

- Name in home programmes.
- Photo on the pitch at Withdean with the sponsored player.
- Signed shirt (might be framed also).

Also might be a few (about 8) seats for a match and/or post-match hospitality access - finding this out at the moment.

Anyone interested in contributing. If you contribute...

- You'll get to be in the photo.
- You'll be entered into a draw to get the shirt.
- You can have a warm look in your heart every time you look in the programme and see your favourite Albion messageboard mentioned.

So - who is up for it? Probably easiest to deal in units of a tenner. Each unit of a tenner gets you 1 shirt draw entry.

Not sure who'll we'll go for - most players will probably have their sponsorships renewed by their existing sponsor - but I'll try and be quick off the mark and try and get a new player - as and when and if we sign one. If funds exceed an amount required we could aim for a further sponsorship, and/or roll some over for next season.

Post your pledges below - only do so if you really WILL actually pay your cash.

I'll kick off with £20.

It's going to be a tough choice between Butters, Lee and McPhee.

When is Peterborough and when do you need the money by?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: Lush on June 26 2003,14:00

Peterborough is Sat April 17th 2004.

I need a deposit of some sort before Christmas, an assurance that you won't bottle out, and then the rest on the day.

That comes as a bitter blow because we were counting on your support.

How much is it to sponsor the kit at Orient? Presumably about the same as the princely amount required to wrestle one of those immaculately folded newspapers from your bright orange newspaper satchel.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: Deano's Right Foot on June 26 2003,15:19

I'm in for £20 deffo. Love it to be Robbo if/when he comes!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: ChapmansThe Saviour on June 26 2003,16:35

If we sponsor Butters do we pay more due to the increased shirt size that will probably have to be made especially for him?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: Lush on June 26 2003,16:37

Or longer sleeves for Beasant?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: El Presidente on June 26 2003,17:20

Might have some humour factor in it, but for one we'd never all fit in the photo with him. And two i'd like to sponsor someone who would actually spend some time on the pitch next season

aim for Blackwell people, although you'll get the comedy value with McPhee

Not sure about Hinshelwood. ???

No doubt this will have to go for a poll (only for people that are pledging obviously).
