    Ah now if we’re if we’re talking about the rules as we’d like them to be, then can I add to your “daylight” rule an instruction to refs that players do not have to wait for a ref to be ready to take a free kick (stop all this crowding the ref to argue), and play is not held up for substitutions...

    Is there VAR in the championship? I’m actually getting quite excited by extra games, Fulham, Brentford and QPR away instead of trying to keep it to only a couple of goals defeat at the emirates and Stamford bridge. And if we get to keep spontaneous goal celebrations...?

    I thought that was VAR getting it right - and ultimately made the right call to determine the outcome. Watching those two versus last night it’s hard to believe it’s even the same sport.
