We need to get a group of us together to establish a trust that will house our vinyl collections in a South Coast museum when we pass - perhaps Lottery money could be used to prevent these important national treasures from being split up and purchased by bloated plutocrats?
I was actually in tears watching this at Latitude. But then my eyes were also moist during Tilted by Christine and the Queens and Scattered Ashes by Minor Victories. Doesn't take much for me to be overcome by beautiful music, much to my teenage son's embarrassment.
I'd probably say Screamadelica ahead of Sonic Flower Groove. The latter drags a bit, although the singles are pretty good. Although I love the idea of Screamadelica, it tests my patience - too many songs could have used a decent editor.

I was listening to CoAM last week and I thought the songs were overly long, but I was feeling very tired at the time. I also thought the Pinkshinyultrablast album went on too long too, so it may be that I'm only tolerating short songs at the moment - like my current favourite Everybody Wants To...
I heard Deerhunter - lots of it. So much, in fact, that I was slightly put off it because it seemed such a rip-off, even though I really enjoyed the album (with some reservations over the quality of some of the vocals).
