I saw them before either of you. James Murphy was playing at my house in 2001. That was before I took his edge, as Herr Tubthumper rightly alludes to above.

Ironically, I have the 12" of Losing My Edge, having bought it on the strength of hearing it was a cool record to have and wanting to be "on trend".
