I think you'll be hard-pressed to find any Reading fan that thinks the club have a "right to success". That's just ridiculous. There are expectations and ambitions, but a "right"? That's just untrue.
Reading were slowly but surely built up by a local man in Madejski, never spent astronomical...
Yeah, I was there. Some fans must be boycotting (there is a thread on our forum about a boycott too). If it's the only way our owners will even bother noticing what's going on with the club, wouldn't you do the same? A few weeks ago, Stam actually ASKED the boo boys not to bother attending...
It's your forum mate, you've got a right to voice whatever you like on here, I just happen to be a member.
Every club has its idiots, though, sometimes chants get started and people join in. I wouldn't say I'm aware of many Reading fans who have a grudge against Brighton - certainly not a majority.
That's because you're in a decent catchment area, and we have to compete with all of the Premier League London clubs, Swindon, Oxford etc.
And not to mention all the United fans from Guildford
Throughout our history our average level of support has been about right, but over the last...

But that happens, it's football. Clubs rise and decline, fans "banter" accordingly, and some of those fans are idiots. It happens at many clubs.
I accept Reading will always be the new kids on the block, despite the fact we've achieved more in the last 15 years than giants Leeds, Sheffield...
It's our best ever achievement, why wouldn't we sing about it? We don't expect anyone else to care, nor should any set of opposition fans when other clubs sing about their achievements.
What people forget is that Reading are historically a small town club. We've been punching above our weight...
We barely even think or talk about it, to be honest, and it's nothing to do with us as fans so we're not really bothered by it, even though it is cringey.
The pitch invasion, though, we'll never live that down...
While I appreciate you're having a laugh at our expense (why you would concern yourself with us when you're in the Premier League is beyond me but, oh well) it was -7c in the stadium, our football and home record is utterly dire this season and fans are voting with their feet. The owners are...
